| Controversial Andesine...At first it was from the Congo. Then Tibet, Mongolia and China.|
When Andesine leaped into the gem world it was backed up by gemological "experts" and was sold to the public as a natural, untreated gemstone. Then an in-depth study by a respected gemologist, despite significant pushback from the "industry" has proven that it is copper diffused common Feldspar. That is an interesting story in itself.
Gem Line made a decision early on to stay away from marketing this stone as the stories and the material just didn't add up to us. Unfortunately one of our associates did not and we have agreed to liquidate their inventory with full disclosure and at a small fraction of their original cost.
